By interweaving scenes of history in the making with intensive immersion
into the objects, the stories of those engaged, and the analysis of scholars,
Objects and Memory will speak to a broad general audience. In addition
to broadcast, the film will be seen in schools, libraries, and museums.
The transformation of ordinary people and things by momentous events is
a personalized and compelling view of history. It will lead viewers to
look afresh at the tangible things they hold dear and the intangible values
that drive their actions.
Following the final production of the film, an extended DVD, a teaching
guide and an educational initiative will be developed. To inquire about
ordering a DVD or arrange a screening please contact Jonathan Fein, info@objectsandmemory.com
or send a request to: EVER, 26 Montrose Station Road, Cortlandt
Manor, NY 10567 |
